The original author's article in Russian must be sent to the editorial office of the journal in electronic form; a brief abstract of the article in Russian and English, revealing the statement of the problem and the main results and conclusions obtained, volume - 200 words; information about the authors in Russian and English, including last name, first name, patronymic (in full), academic degree, academic title, place of work, position, E-mail, address.

The volume of the author's original article should be 8-12 pages of computer text in A4 format, printed single spaced; font TimesNewRoman; font size (point) – 13, paragraph indent 1.25; margins – 2.5 cm on all sides.

All figures and tables must have a title in Russian and English and be mentioned in the text in the form of links. It is prohibited to insert scanned figures and tables into the article.

Tables are typed in the same font as the main text, but in a smaller size (point size 12; if there is a lot of data, point size 9 is acceptable). If the digital data in the table is expressed in one unit, its name is given in the table header separated by commas (mass, kg; length, cm). If these data are expressed in different units, they are indicated in the heading of each column.

Tables on the left, right and bottom are usually limited by lines. The head of the table should be separated by a line from the rest of the table. If numerical data in some columns of the table is not given, then a dash is placed in the column.

Graphs can be used as illustrative material. The abscissa and ordinate axes of the graph must have symbols and the dimensions of the quantities used. Illustrations should be positioned so that they can be conveniently viewed without rotating the work or turning it clockwise.

The article must have a UDC, a list of references of at least 7 titles (formatted strictly in accordance with GOST 7.0.5-2011), its title must be brief and adequate to the content. All sources should be referenced in the text as they are mentioned. If the author has already published articles in the Baltic Economic Journal on similar topics, this link should also be used in the list of sources.

The main criteria, taking into account which the editors decide on the advisability of publication, include: the relevance of the problem being analyzed; the originality of the proposed approaches to solving it; validity and practical orientation of these approaches.

Articles prepared by graduate students and candidates for the scientific degree of Candidate of Sciences are accepted if there is information about the supervisor and his written recommendation for the publication of the article.

Submitted articles must have reviews; they are published if they are recommended for publication by the editorial board and the editorial board of the Baltic Economic Journal.

Copyright materials submitted in violation of these requirements will not be accepted for review and publication.

The manuscript of a scientific article received by the Editorial Board is reviewed by the editor for correctness of format and compliance with the scientific profile of the journal. If all requirements are met, the manuscript is registered in the database, checked for the presence of unspecified borrowings, after which the author of the article is notified that the materials have been accepted for consideration.

Each material submitted for publication undergoes a review procedure for the purpose of its expert assessment. When submitting materials, an external review is provided; this does not exclude the usual review procedure.

The review of materials is carried out by a reviewer, who can be the editor of the journal, a member of the editorial board, the editorial board of the journal, or a specialist with the scientific specialization closest to the topic of the article. The editor-in-chief has the right to attract external reviewers (doctors or candidates of science, including practitioners) who are not members of the editorial board and (or) the editorial board. The editor-in-chief agrees with the reviewer on the deadline for submitting the review to the editorial office of the journal.

The reviewer cannot be the author or co-author of the reviewed materials, the author’s scientific supervisor, or an employee of the department in which the author works.

The author of the materials must make all necessary corrections to the final version of the article (review, review, etc.) no later than 7 calendar days after receiving the notification by e-mail, and return the corrected text and cover letter to the reviewer to the editor. Manuscripts revised by the author are re-sent for review to the same reviewer who made critical comments, or to another at the discretion of the editor-in-chief.

Manuscripts whose authors have not eliminated the reviewer’s constructive comments or do not refute them with reason will not be accepted for publication.

The editors send the author of the materials a reasoned refusal or a copy of the review.

If the publication of materials entailed a violation of someone’s copyright or generally accepted norms of scientific ethics, then the editors of the Journal have the right to publish a refutation, as well as inform interested parties about the fact of violation of rights.
