Abstract

The purpose of the study is to substantiate the directions of territorial economic development in the system of inter-budgetary relations. The problems of improving inter-budgetary relations between the federal center and the regions in the context of the development of mechanisms of inter-budgetary alignment are analyzed. It is emphasized that the resolution of vertical contradictions of inter–budgetary relations in the country requires scientific and applied research. In general, there is a slight increase in the degree of centralization of the country's budgetary resources at the federal budget level. The existing mechanisms of inter-budgetary relations in the country require new fundamental approaches to ensuring budget alignment. The strategic socio-economic development of the country should be put at the forefront of reforming the changes in the relations of the center and territories. As a result, the necessity of building inter-budgetary relations of regional development in the ratio of dynamics "from the future to the present" is substantiated. In addition, it is necessary to use digital platforms in the mechanisms of inter-budgetary relations of regional development.
